Healing Waters QiGong Center

Denise Gunderson Master Healer

Denise Gunderson is a Certified Spring Forest Qigong (pronounced chee gong) Master Healer and Instructor. She has studied under Master Chunyi Lin since 2001, receiving her Masters in Qigong in 2009. Denise has developed her gifts during the past 25 years; her devotion to meditation has assisted her in listening to her clients energetically and compassionately and has trained her intuition to its heightened state.

In 1996, Denise founded Body, Mind, Spirit Connection, leading private, one-on-one healing sessions. In 2008, she blended that practice with Being Alive, bringing awareness to alternative holistic practices in the St. Croix River Valley. Opening Healing Waters QiGong Center in 2009 is a dream come true.

Denise shares tools that create harmony in your life, no matter your challenges, and brings you to a peaceful existence. Denise works with the energetic map of the body, looking at where the energy is stuck, depleted or overtaxed. In her qigong classes, Denise teaches you how to care for yourself and remove your own energy blocks through gentle movements. She works to bring a level of harmony to the body's energetic system.

As an active member of the St. Croix Valley Practitioners, Denise joins with other holistic practitioners to raise awareness and educate people in the area about the effective results that stem from these practices. Denise is also a member of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce and is a facilitator for Strengthening Families, a program that teaches families with 10 to 14 year-olds how adults and their children can communicate more effectively.

Denise served as supervisor for the Town of Somerset from 2005 to 2009 as chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee. Denise was a member of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors from 2002 to 2008, assisting in creating the Drug Court and the ADHOC Meth Advisory Committee. She has been actively involved with MADAM, Moms and Dads Against Meth. Denise also assisted in creating the Butterfly House, a transition home for women who are recovering from addiction.

As in everything in life, Denise encourages harmony, as it is the harmony in our lives that brings us to our optimum level of health.
